Whistler is well known for it’s endless outdoor activities, but if the weather doesn’t cooperate, or you need a bit of downtime it’s helpful to have a few indoor activities in your back pocket. Here’s a range of indoor options from crafty to active that will keep all of your kids happy.
Whistler Library
Our local library is a great resource for daily drop in programs for kids from newborns to adults. It’s not all about books and reading. With programs ranging from meditation to photography, they have something to keep everyone happy. Check their schedule- it’s all free!
Meadow Park Sports Centre
If your kids need to burn off some energy, the Meadow Park Sports Centre has a wide range options to tire them out. You can skate, swim, play squash or just hang out in a near by park to enjoy the beautiful views.
Audain Museum or SLCC
A visit to our local museums and galleries is a great way to enrich your visit with our local arts and culture. While a gallery may not seem like the most kid friendly option, both not only welcome kids, but also offer kid specific sections and programs. Stop by the Audain Museum on Sundays to enjoy Family Studio Sundays for fun and interactive family fun.
